About The Event
Workshop Overview
Spend a morning at the bench with Hannah Souter, a silversmith and teacher with over 20 years' experience. You'll make your own solid silver bangle at Sol Creative Foundry in Cambridge. It's just in time for Christmas, whether you keep it or give it away.
What You'll Learn
Hannah will guide you through each stage of making a bangle by hand: sizing, cutting, shaping and soldering the silver, then texturing, filing and polishing it until it's ready to wear. You'll leave with one finished bangle that you made yourself.
Who Should Attend
The workshop is open to all abilities and is ideal for beginners, so you don't need any experience. It's a lovely way to make a meaningful handmade gift, or a treat for yourself, before the festive rush. Groups are small, with a maximum of 8, so Hannah can give everyone individual attention.
