Fused Glass with Katie Lynn

Get to Know Us
Spend an afternoon with Katie, learning the how to create and make your own fused glass decorations. You will get a basic introduction to glass fusing and learn how to cut your own glass shapes
What you’ll do
You will sketch a simple design onto paper. A clear glass template is laid over the sketch and you decorate this with glass confetti, stringers and glass fragments. You can also cut your own shapes using your new found glass cutting skill. It can help to have an idea of what you might like to make before you come. Print out ideas or bring along any sketches if you have them. This isn't essential but it can help.

What’s included
Your work will be fired by Katie in one of her kilns and will be ready to collect from the Foundry or we can post it to you for an extra £5.

Katie
Katie Lynn has transformed her love of glass into an original and colourful business, selling handmade fused glass gifts and decorations online and at craft fairs, shops and galleries across the country - all sold under Katie's brand name, molten wonky.
Katie's passion for colour, concept and form has inspired her to continue adding many new products to her original range.
