A place to work alongside other creatives. The foundry desks are for people who want more than working from home, but don’t need a full studio.
It’s a shared working space where people come in regularly, get on with their work. You’re not just hiring a desk. You’re placing yourself in an active creative environment.
WHY WORK FROM THE FOUNDRY
If you’re a creative freelancer, designer, illustrator, artist, writer or anyone who works independently and wants a better place to do it, the foundry is for you. You’ll see how other people work, pick up techniques, ask questions when you need to, or just absorb what’s going on around you.
That proximity to other creatives changes how you work.
The desks sit within a wider space that’s actively used. Workshops run along side the exhibition space and artist studios. You can be part of it or choose to find a quiet corner away from it all.

£20 – day pass

Group bookings are available if you want to come in with others.
MEMBERSHIP
We are currently offering a limited number of desk memberships.
If spaces are full, you can join the waiting list and we’ll be in touch as soon as something opens up.
Desk membership is for artists, designers and creatives who want a consistent place to work and develop their practice within a shared environment.This is not a taught space. Members are expected to work independently, while being part of a wider creative community.
WHAT THE MEMBERSHIP GIVES YOU
Membership is based around regular use of the space, not one-off visits.
You’ll have access to the Foundry during opening hours, with the ability to build a network around you and your work.
Your membership allows you to use the space flexibly across the month.

HOW IT WORKS
Membership runs on a rolling monthly basis.
There is a minimum commitment of 2 month. After that, you can cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice.
Membership begins from the date of your first payment.
