Lino Printing
A workshop for families
Tuesday 26 May · 09:30am – 12:30am
Wednesday 27 May · 13:30pm – 16:30pm
What you’ll do
In this 3-hour family session, adults and children aged 7 and over will design and cut their own lino print from scratch and take it home.
Lino printing is a proper making skill, slow, satisfying, and genuinely impressive once you see your design come off the block. This session is designed for families to work together: sketching an idea, transferring it to the lino, learning to cut safely, and printing the finished result in ink on paper.
You leave with your lino block, a set of prints, and a technique you can keep using at home.
Who it’s for
No experience needed for adults or children.
Suitable for families with children aged 8 and over. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.
An adult must be present and participating throughout.
What’s included
All materials
Lino block and prints to take home.
Families will leave with finished prints and a new creative skill.
About
Su Morris
I’m someone who’s always been happiest when creating something…
I’ve got almost 30 years experience as a graphic designer. My creative answers to commercial and not-for-profit challenges cover: packaging and design for print, branding and logo design, design for licensed stationery merchandise, agency work across multiple clients, and product releases and collateral for healthcare and rare disease causes & or course websites and social media graphics.
Alongside design work, for the last 5 years, I’ve been leading creative workshops where participants, of all ages and abilities, get to explore a creative process in a supportive and playful environment.
