Styrofoam Printing
A kids workshop for ages 5 and up

Tuesday 26 May · 10:30am–11:30am
Wednesday 28 May · 1:30pm–2:30pm

What you’ll do

In this 1-hour workshop, children aged 5 and over will design and print their own artwork using simple printmaking techniques.

Styrofoam printing is one of the most satisfying introductions to making. Children draw directly into soft foam sheets, roll on ink, and press their design onto paper to reveal their print. Every piece is different, and every piece goes home.

Bold, hands-on and completely approachable, no experience needed, just a willingness to get stuck in.

Who it’s for

No experience needed.

Suitable for children aged 5 and over.

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting inky.

Adults are welcome to stay during the session.

What’s included

All materials

• Styrofoam sheets
• Tools and guidance
• Tea and coffee for accompanying adults

Children will leave with finished prints and a new creative skill.

About
Su Morris

I’m someone who’s always been happiest when creating something…

I’ve got almost 30 years experience as a graphic designer. My creative answers to commercial and not-for-profit challenges cover: packaging and design for print, branding and logo design, design for licensed stationery merchandise, agency work across multiple clients, and product releases and collateral for healthcare and rare disease causes & or course websites and social media graphics.

Alongside design work, for the last 5 years, I’ve been leading creative workshops where participants, of all ages and abilities, get to explore a creative process in a supportive and playful environment.
